Funny how some words catch you by surprise. Seebs made a comment about God and church and I responded that it was comments like that which could almost make me want to be a Christian again. He came back with:

You probably could. But then... Because you probably could, it's a distinction without a difference. Any God worth consideration, let alone worship, would already have you figured out, and presumably tossed the formal invitation in the shredder on the grounds that it would be a waste of postage to invite you to where you're already going.

I doubt I'll ever go back, but if I do, I promise myself to become a Quaker.
